On behalf of Busch Entertainment Corporation, and specifically Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, we would like to present you with a token of our appreciation for your efforts in the successful opening of SheiKra. Your company was instrumental in erecting the first dive coaster in the United States.
Your team did a great job. It was a pleasure working with you and hopefully we can work together in the future.
We are writing in response to your performance at one of our switch facilities. As usual Superior Rigging made a very difficult installation in an existing facility successful for both Turner Construction and Verizon Wireless.
The protection and installation plan successfully negated the high-risk exposure on damaging the Owner’s equipment. You succeeded in performing a flawlessly yet difficult schedule with high risk.
Once again, thank you for your professional and devotion to making every project a success.
It is our pleasure to share with you and your staff the recognition our team has recently received for the Delta lobby renovation project. Thanks, in large part to the work of Superior Rigging & Erecting, New South Construction has been honored with several industry awards in acknowledgement of outstanding performance on such a challenging project. These include the 2007 First Place AGC – Build Georgia Award, the Southeast Construction – Best Transportation Building of 2007, and the CMAA’s 2008 Best Building Renovation over $20 Million.
Everyone at New South Construction takes great pride in winning awards such as these, and in the continuing success they symbolize. However, this success would not be possible without the diligent efforts of team members like Superior Rigging & Erecting. There are no words to express our appreciation to your firm in making our job easier and these awards possible. Thank you again, and we look forward to working with your company on future projects.
Thank you for providing such excellent service to the High Museum during the many fall exhibition changes in September. Superior removed and packed two oversized sculptures for the Louvre exhibition and installed four sculptures and the Sforza Horse for our Leonardo da Vinci exhibition.
David, thank you for your extensive planning and coordination, which began many months ago. It is always fulfilling to see these projects through to fruition.
I would also like to acknowledge the tremendous project management of Thomas Hutcherson as foreman for all the jobs. He juggled Superior’s crews, international lenders, media and the hovering museum staff while maintaining a good attitude and respect for everyone. Thomas’ good leadership kept everything running smoothly and on schedule even with the occasional challenge due to our facility or the weather. We’ll welcome him back in February/March 2010 when we deinstall the sculptures and horse.
Patrick, we greatly appreciate the in-kind sponsorship of our Sforza Horse on the piazza Your generosity makes these projects possible during such a challenging economic period and the horse has received terrific audience response. It is quite a site!
The High is pleased to have a positive relationship with Superior and I hope this continues well into the future. Thank you again for your support.
Early on Monday morning, September 21, is started raining in Carrollton. It rained hard for several hours; eventually building up to the worse local flooding anyone could remember. Southwire was hit hard at our two largest plants, resulting in significant down time and extensive cost.
Luckily, through the hard work by many Southwire employees we are now back to work, producing product for our customers. Despite the inconvenience, anxiety, frustrations and fear this event caused, there were several things to celebrate:
- No personal injuries associated with the flooding or the restoration.
- No infrastructure damage to our plants.
- Few, if any, missed deliveries of product to our customers.
- We were insured, so no meaningful impact on our finances.
However, we would not have been able to overcome this hardship so quickly without the cooperation and performance from Superior Rigging & Erecting Company and our other strategic suppliers to Southwire. No doubt, these are the times when the true value of our supplier relationships is revealed. During this time of crisis, you came through for us, and on behalf of our entire team at Southwire, we want to say THANK YOU!
As you know, 2009 has been a challenging year for Southwire in terms of business volume. You have felt this impact as well. But, we are confident our business volumes will return, maybe not as soon as we prefer, but they will return. So, in the meantime, we look forward to working with Superior Rigging & Erecting Company and building our relationship even further.
I wanted to thank the team at Superior Rigging for an outstanding job. The team both inside the office and the Crane and rigging team stepped up and set things in motion the Monday after the Thanksgiving Holidays for Tuesday morning. The patience of the riggers and their extra help with tarping the load was fantastic, they stepped up when they weren’t required to do so. Always positive and great to work with.
Thank for pulling off the perfect shipment
My first experience with Superior Rigging was amazing. The driver/operator was in contact the night prior to the lift to make sure everything was still going as planned. He was on time, very courteous, and followed every safety protocol. He was definitely there to work and get the job done. He navigated though little issues with crane placement and dealing with vehicle traffic flawlessly never losing his cool. The lift (and many others since) went perfect. The load was precisely placed within 1/8 inch as planned and just like that we were done. No drama, no issues, just good service from a family owned business like mine.
I wanted to thank Superior Rigging, especially JD Creel and Donnie Dover. When the Clelia arrived on the semi-trailer, it was obvious that they had taken great care in the safe transport of the sub.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation for all your efforts on the IDI2a project. Your team embraced the safety, quality, and schedule demands of the project and set the example for all sites. While the project was extremely challenging and at time never ending, your numerous achievements lead to the success of the project. The hard work and dedication of your team contributed to the outstanding project safety records. Because of your efforts we have raised the bar for safety and schedule all current and future Flounder projects. We look forward to working together on future projects and many more accomplishments.
As we wrap up our project, 675 North Highland, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on and recognize those key personnel and companies that helped make this project a true success. Superior Rigging & Erecting was on such company that truly played a vital and key role in the overall success of 675 North Highlands – specifically with regards to assisting us with our framing aspect.
We at Gilbane Building Company want to personally thank you and Superior Rigging & Erecting as you and your team were instrumental in helping to identify and overcome the many challenges that we faced on this site. You always exhibited a professional and positive can-do demeanor. Additionally you provided outstanding customer service – what most impressed me was that you always took the time to listen, verify and make the necessary calls to ensure that we received the right equipment on site. We could not have gotten this job done in the manner that we did without your help and your relentless reassurances from Superior Rigging & Erecting – for that, we at Gilbane Building Company truly say thank you!
We have relied on Superior Rigging for over 5 years on multiple jobs. From lifting RUTs with a small boom truck, to a large rooftop replacements requiring a 200+ ton crane, they have been on time and professional with each project. I would recommend using them to anyone and will continue to use them for our future projects.
I really appreciate all your help with our crane/rigging needs at our Ardmore project. Your guys did great and were very helpful, given our limited access. Again, I just wanted to say thank you. In the future, I know what crane company Norsouth will be using.
I have worked with Superior Rigging a few times recently and have nothing but good things to say. I have been in a pinch a few times and they have helped me out tremendously. They have been excellent to work with from sales, scheduling, and on the job. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone in need of their services.
I wanted to thank you for all your help in sizing, scheduling and logistics. I appreciate all the extra steps you and your company took to make my job easier.
I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you and the project team at Superior rigging for a tremendous effort on all the projects we have worked together on over the last several years. They have all proved to be challenging projects, but your team’s attention to detail and expertise in this industry along with the professionalism and quality service exceeded our expectation.
We placed our trust in your organization for these premier projects and you certainly came through for us. We could not be more pleased with the results. The attention to details and your firm’s complete knowledge of the structural elements associated with the installation on these projects such as this proved to be invaluable to all concerned. I could go on and on, but simply wanted to let you know how much I appreciate everything you and your team accomplished and we look forward to working with you on future projects.
I’d like to thank you and your crew for doing such a fantastic job at the museum. Each person on the team you sent over were great to work with, friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate Superior Riggings attention to detail and dedication to a job well done.
Allow me to take a quick moment to compliment and thank the great crane team effort on the Forest Products show.
In particular, your operator Dan Miller, with the excellent skill and communicative ground support of Thomas Hutchers and James Glendon, did a masterful job. As usual, there were some fairly tight work restraints based on the ceiling height and aisle availability at the GWCC. This team worked with great efficiency, installing a high level of confidence in both our exhibitors and GES’s on site staff.
I would like to thank you and your crew for the work you performed over the weekend. It was a pleasure working with your crew as they exhibited excellent customer skills on site, worked well as a team and with minimal supervision, and followed Bridgestond procedures as directed. Again, good work.
Bridgestone Commercial Solutions
Just wanted to tell you that your crew did an excellent job. They were on time, professional and courteous. It’s a pleasure doing business with you and your crew.
Thank you for the outstanding service you have provided to us during the Bombardier APM MHJIT project. It’s a pleasure to work with your organization. Thank you for knowing the meaning of efficiency and the proper delivery of top quality service to our project.
Your team did an excellent job today! I really appreciate the quick responses, coming in early in the morning, and putting a team together quickly. They knew exactly what they were doing and were very professional.
I wanted to let you know that the crew you sent out yesterday were outstanding guys and did a really good job for us. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and are the kind of employees you want to be working for your company.
I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU, to each person who contributed to such a successful, well-executed, damage free, expeditious disassembly.
The professionalism, sincere concern for preservation and the forensic level puzzle solving were a marvel to witness. I am indebted to all of you and I’m sure the museum folks are as well. I know we still have the packing, shipment and re-installation to go, but I am confident these phases will be executed with the same care and professionalism as was the disassembly.
On behalf of JLL, I wanted to thank you for the tremendous job and your consideration for the building. We could not have asked for a better team! Thank you and great job!
Thank you for providing such excellent service to the High Museum during the many fall exhibition changes. Superior removed and packed two oversized sculptures for the Louvre exhibition and installed four sculptures and the Sforza HOrse for our Leonardo da Vinci exhibition. The High is pleased to have a positive relationship with Superior and I hope this continues well into the future. Thank you again for your support.
I wish to thank your crane operator and rigging crew for the excellent job they did in moving our large freezers from the second floor of our old location to our new location. They moved the freezer without a scratch and installed them all in their new locations so that we were back up and running in less than a day. The freezers were very difficult to get through the doors and one even had to be laid on its side to get it in.
There is absolutely nothing like having a good crane operator and riggers when heavy objects need to be removed from upper floors. The move was completed during intermittent downpours and every time the heavens opened up the blue tarps were already in place and none of the equipment suffered a bit.
Thanks again for all your excellent work.

Please extend my gratitude and appreciation to the crew that moved the boulders for us. They all did a great job! I was impressed with how effortless the moving of the boulders seemed. The crew was friendly, personable, professional, and certainly knowledgeable and we enjoyed working with them.
Two weeks ago, we experienced a problem within our Bandury Department, a critical piece of equipment to the success of our plant. A call was placed to Russell Postell from Superior, who immediately helped us in locating a crane and rigger team. Russell had the crane and riggers in our place the next morning to help us avoid additional downtime within our operation. Vince and his rigger team did an outstanding job in a very short period of time. (Excellent crew to work with) While this responsiveness and attention to detail is always expected from our vendors, it is rarely displayed or received to this degree. Thanks to the dedication and efforts, we were able to minimize our losses.
We would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for the commitment and dedication that your entire team displayed during the completion of University Commons. We know there were a number of individuals from your company that contributed to the success of the project and we would like to recognize their dedication and professionalism. The entire Superior Rigging team did an outstanding job and represented your company well on this project. It has been a pleasure to work with your organization and we look forward to the opportunity to work with you in the future.
The South Construction would like to take a few minutes to recognize your firm’s outstanding performance on the above referenced project. All of your field and office personnel were a pleasure to work with on a daily basis. Your overall approach to problems and issues, as well as coordination efforts with other subcontractors and ourselves, made it a very enjoyable experience. It is rare to receive this level of attention in today’s fast paced construction market. Once again, thank you and your team for a project well done, and we look forward to working with you again in the very near future.
I wanted to express my appreciation to you for the fantastic job performed by your riggers at CDC/Emory. The Nordion representatives had the following words for the riggers, and I concur and quote:
“These riggers are hard workers, do a great job, and have a pleasant disposition. I wish that I had them to work with me on every job.” And I concur, Walt, Mike, and Chad were just super as well as the crane and forklift operators.
I thank Superior Rigging for another outstanding performance and look forward to a continued business relationship in the future.

I want to personally thank you for your assistance, cooperation, and willingness in providing the riggers needed to remove and ship the 5000 pound Gammacell Irradiator back to Canada. All of the riggers performed their duties in an outstanding and professional manner. The riggers worked all day in an unfavorable environment; the weather temperature was below 32 degrees in the shady courtyard with the wind creating an unpleasant wind chill. I want to report that the riggers exhibited a great attitude, and no one complained. The riggers did a fantastic job in removing the irradiator “carefully” out of the building and subsequently loading the unit on the truck. Consequently, the safety and health of all participants and the CDC family was not compromised.
The arduous and timely contributions made by Superior Rigging personally contributed to the successful accomplishment of a critical project.

All my expectations (of Superior) have been met in both professionalism and ability. In fact, after working with over sixty individuals so far on this project I have found that the individuals working for Superior are superior. I found Superior’s crane and welding crew that were assigned to the project to be the best group of men I have encountered on this whole project.
I am writing to say a big THANK YOU for the great job the crew did last week with deinstalling the Curry outdoor sculptures. The whole process was smooth and we really appreciated the time. Can’t wait till the next great rigging adventure!

Excellent company to work with. Employees are well trained and friendly to work with.
We – MAGNUM, have been using Superior for over 20 years. We definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a great crew of hard working guys to do their rigging & crane work. A 5 star company.
I called on Superior to set a roof top unit for my company. I delt with Gabby Cagliani during the whole process and I must say she did an excellent job setting everything up for me. She made my job a lot easier. Crane operator arrived on time and did a great job as well. Superior now has a customer for life.
